No pain no gain. That’s how the saying goes and that was on full display on Wednesday as Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched and flew the unmanned Starship SN8 for over 6 minutes before it exploded during its attempt to land at SpaceX’s facility in Boca Chica, Texas.

I don’t like getting vaccines, but one of the things that has me excited to line up as soon as it’s my turn is the prospect of returning to international travel. There is nothing more thrilling to me than getting on a plane and a few hours later being transported to a far-away destination that will take me out of my comfort zone, exposing me to new sights, sounds, and culture.

As someone who preaches recognizing the value of the journey instead of concentrating on the destination, a global pandemic has thrown a curveball at me this year. Everyone is growing more impatient by the day and just wanting this all to be over so we can move on with life.

I’ve stared for many months trying to determine what this blog was going to look like, what it should focus on and who my audience would be. After many months of staring at a blank page, it is time to get off the fence.
I still don’t have answers to any of these questions but after listening to one of Tim Ferriss’ podcast episodes with best-selling author and entrepreneur Seth Godin, something struck a chord with me. He said “Writer’s block is something that exists but isn’t real. What writer’s block really is, is a fear of bad writing.”
